Job Responsibilities
The AV System Designer is responsible for creating a design that includes the required components, cables, connectors and labor requirements necessary for our team to build and install AV systems. The AV System Designer will work closely with our Account Managers and customers throughout the sales and consulting process. They are also responsible for assisting our Installation Managers and AV Installation Technicians to ensure a smooth installation.
Job Duties:
- Dealing directly with clients to determine their AV requirements
- Suggesting the appropriate equipment and manpower for the project
- Creating drawings (signal flow, room layouts, rack drawings) and BOM’s
- Assisting our purchasing team with securing specialty equipment
- Working with CAD technicians to ensure accurate drawings
- Managing any additions or changes the client requires
- Field commissioning with Installation Technicians
- Attend contractor meetings on site when required

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of audio visual experience
- Strong computer skills, including use of MS Office
- Experience with AutoCAD
