Salary Range: $45,760 – $61,000

As a national Indigenous, non-partisan organization, we champion innovation, collaboration, and celebration — and we’re looking for a passionate Associate, Events & Awards to help us make it all happen.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a key member of our Events & Awards team, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes powerhouse ensuring our events run smoothly and our awards shine. Your role will include:
Event Planning & Execution
- Coordinating event calendars, timelines, and logistics.
- Managing registration systems and providing top-tier support to attendees, sponsors, and members.
- Updating event websites and apps, tracking ticket sales, and generating reports.
- Supporting on-site logistics, including registration and volunteer coordination.
- Liaising with vendors, speakers, and partners to gather assets and ensure smooth delivery.
Awards Program Support
- Administering the awards nomination process and ensuring eligibility.
- Promoting awards to boost engagement and participation.
- Coordinating jury meetings, interviews, and travel logistics.
- Researching and reaching out to potential nominees.
General Support
- Preparing and shipping event materials.
- Assisting with webinars, launches, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Contributing to marketing strategies and conducting event research.
Please note that this position requires some travel across Canada.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-Haves:
- College diploma in Events, Marketing, or related field — or equivalent experience.
- Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with WordPress.
- Familiarity with Indigenous business and relations.
- Background in member-based organizations.
- Bilingual in English and French.
