As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Store Manager to support our daily operations and drive team success at our Toronto and Mississauga locations.
Job Description:
As an Assistant Store Manager at Ecogo, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to oversee store operations and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You’ll help maintain a smooth-running retail environment while contributing to sales goals, staff training, and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day operations and staff supervision.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and product knowledge.
- Support sales team with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Handle customer issues and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Oversee product displays, store cleanliness, and visual merchandising.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock control.
- Perform basic mechanical tasks such as assembling or troubleshooting e-scooters and e-bikes.
- Must be handy, able to assist and supervise mechanics, and perform tasks independently after training.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Able to multitasking, take over any task as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of retail or sales experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for sustainability and the e-mobility industry.
- Ability to troubleshoot and explain technical product features.
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
