We are a well-established family farm looking to hire additional staff members to meet the needs of our growing business. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude who are not afraid of hard work. An attention to detail is important when caring for animals.
Day to day duties include but are not limited to:
- Feeding and Watering the Animals
- Cleaning Animal Housing
- Cleaning and Maintaining the Facility
NOTE: This is a fast paced environment in which time standards apply. The work is labour intensive and dirty. Must be able to lift 50 pound feed bags.
Although having a love for animals is a must, having some work experience within a farm environment would be an asset.
- The position is full time, 5 days per week, may include weekend shifts.
- The starting wage will be $17.50 per hour during the 3 month probationary period, and then based upon performance, will increase to $18.50 per hour.
- This position is mostly indoors.
