Administrative & Marketing Assistant – Part Time (On-Site at Merridale)
Location: Cobble Hill, BC
Schedule: Part-time, 20–24 hours/week (3 days/week including one weekend day)
Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hour

Nestled in a 20-acre orchard in the Cowichan Valley, Merridale is a destination cidery, distillery, eatery, and farm store. As we grow, we’re looking for a highly organized, sales-focused Administrative & Marketing Assistant to help us keep things running smoothly and make a difference every single day.
About the Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our guests, both online and by phone, making organization and communication your superpowers. In this hybrid role, you’ll support general administration and marketing efforts—from fielding inquiries and managing group bookings to assisting with newsletters and updating website content.

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to guest inquiries by phone and email; book group experiences and assist with product orders
- Support the marketing team with newsletters, event promotions, and digital communications
- Update website content, assist with social media and proofreading
- Organize internal communications between departments
- Coordinate email distribution to our subscriber lists and partner organizations
What You Bring:
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, basic Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Familiarity with WordPress, Klayvio, and social media platforms (basic level is fine—we’ll train you!)
- A can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a small but mighty team
