Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by managing various administrative tasks, ensuring efficient workflow, and contributing to process improvements. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements.
- Assist in the management of shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely order fulfillment and accuracy.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems and Transportation Management Systems to track inventory levels and shipments.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to support demand planning initiatives and improve operational processes.
- Maintain accurate records of pricing, orders, and inventory levels using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Support e-commerce operations by processing online orders and managing customer inquiries related to order status.
- Contribute to process improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency across administrative functions.
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred, with a focus on logistics or supply chain management being a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM, Quickbooks and e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on demand planning and process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
