Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for holistic healing and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patients' conditions, developing treatment plans, and administering acupuncture therapies to promote overall wellness.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health histories and current conditions to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals, incorporating various acupuncture techniques.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on lifestyle changes that can enhance their overall health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatment progress and any changes in health status.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication regarding treatment plans.
- Stay current with advancements in acupuncture practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Strong background in patient care with a focus on holistic health practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare staff and document patient information accurately.
- Previous hospital experience is preferred, providing insight into collaborative healthcare environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and foster a supportive healing environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility in approach to patient care.
