At SmartProgram, we deliver industry-leading automotive protection solutions. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist (also known as an Accounts Payable Clerk or Accounting Assistant) to join our growing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices accurately and on time (invoice processing)
- Prepare and execute weekly payment processing
- Maintain accurate vendor management records
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close and reporting
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure seamless financial operations
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in accounts payable, accounting clerk, or related role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar — an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with strong problem-solving abilities
Work Location:
- On-site in our Edmonton office (this is not a remote position)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Nice to Have:
- Experience preparing expense reports
- Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis
- Previous experience supporting a finance coordinator or financial administrator role
