About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations with experience in Home Textiles and light manufacturing. This role requires knowledge of QuickBooks, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee financial transactions, reporting, and reconciliations using QuickBooks.
- Cost Accounting: Manage manufacturing cost accounting, including inventory valuation, cost allocation, and variance analysis.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations, procurement, and management to support financial decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in accounting.
- Software Expertise: Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong financial analysis capabilities, especially in cost accounting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to present financial insights effectively.
