About N’Dinawemak, Our Relatives Place:
N’Dinawemak, Our Relatives Place is an Indigenous-led non-profit organization that provides shelter and essential services to the community in downtown Winnipeg. We aim to empower individuals and families by offering support and resources in a culturally respectful environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle accounts receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and collection of past due balance.
- Support Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and supplier statements as needed.
- Assist with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects.
- inquiries, and billing account contact information.
- Reviewing and entering bills from suppliers and subcontractors with supporting documents.
- Other administrative tasks as required.
- Undertaking special projects and other duties as required.
Requirements & Competencies
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Post-secondary education, including courses in accounting or finance.
- Experience with QuickBooks required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and all Microsoft Suite programs.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all areas of work.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent typing skills.
- Strong work ethic with the abilities to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and stay organized.
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.
Work can be remote with on-site meetings as required.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 per week
