Job Summary
To achieve assigned sales objectives/targets in a specific geographic or industry territory by developing new customer accounts and ensuring on-going customer satisfaction through excellent service exceeding customers expectations and follow up. Participates in the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans
Responsibilities and Duties
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handles routine customer calls regarding status of orders, providing schedule and delivery information.
Calls on existing and potential clients to identify their current or perspective needs and provide information about the company products/services including, where required, demonstrations and quotations.
Contacts manufacturing, service, accounting, shipping and other functions as necessary to determine order status, anticipated delivery dates and to resolve other customer queries and concerns.
Provides callers with standard product and price information.
Provides product demonstration to walk-in customers.
Completes sales orders as required.
Maintains current database of company clients and ensures continuous updates.
Handles related correspondence, invoicing information, and distribution of support materials to clients.
Follows and ensures workplace operating and environmental, health and safety procedure and guideline compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
Specialized Skills:
Effective communications and interpersonal skills.
General knowledge of company products and processes.
Knowledge of EXCEL , MS Word, Maximizer and/or Accpac
Typing/Data Entry
Equipment Used:
Computers
Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
Some visual concentration in use of video display terminal.
Some stress related to dealing with customer sales/service issues.
Some travel
Car and valid Ontario driver’s licence
Credit Card with minimum of $500.00 available credit
