We are seeking a driven Account Executive to lead growth within institutional sales. You’ll be responsible for running inbound demos, driving outbound sales, and building strong relationships with asset managers, hedge funds, and other financial institutions.
In addition to institutional sales, you’ll also manage our academic access program, ensuring universities and colleges are successfully onboarded and provided with free Fiscal.ai Terminal licenses.
This role is based in Toronto and requires a minimum of three days per week in our office.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inbound product demos for prospective institutional clients.
- Drive outbound sales to generate leads, book demos, and close new institutional accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities and colleges, overseeing the distribution of free Fiscal.ai Terminal licenses.
- Act as a trusted product expert, showing how the Fiscal.ai Terminal delivers value to institutional investors.
- Diligently follow up with prospects and clients to keep momentum in the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with the team to refine sales processes, messaging, and growth strategies.
- Provide client feedback to help shape product development and improve the customer experience.
Requirements
- Experience in equity research, financial data, or as a power user of the Fiscal.ai Terminal.
- Demonstrated success in sales or business development, ideally with institutional clients.
- Strong communication and presentation skills — able to demo complex financial products effectively.
- Highly organized, persistent, and committed to consistent follow-up.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Must be located in Toronto and able to work in the office at least 3 days per week.

Existing network in the institutional investment community.
Experience managing academic partnerships or outreach programs.
Benefits
$125,000 base salary ($175,000 OTE uncapped) CAD
10% gross bookings commission uncapped + commissions for distributing licenses to Universities and Colleges
