Barrantes owns and operates group homes in Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge and Guelph, and provides home- and community-based supports across Southern and Central Ontario.
Position: ABA Lead
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, including some weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00/hour
Expected Hours: 16–40 per week

Barrantes Group Living Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated ABA Lead Associate to help clients reach their full potential. If you’re passionate about working with individuals of all abilities and thrive in collaborative environments, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Bring:
- A high standard of care, compassion, and professionalism
- Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working with clients with developmental disabilities, dual diagnoses, and complex behaviours
- Leadership skills and initiative
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for community travel
- Valid First Aid/CPR
- Ability to obtain a clear Vulnerable Sector Check
Responsibilities:
- Build strong, supportive relationships with clients
- Advocate for and assist with client needs
- Implement individualized behaviour plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
- Respond to crisis situations with urgency and professionalism
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and update the BCBA regularly
- Collaborate and coach team members
- Prepare program materials as needed
- Support scheduling and team needs when required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum
- 1+ year of ABA experience (preferred)
- 3+ years of behaviour support experience (preferred)
- CPI or Safe Management Group training (preferred)
- Additional training in behaviour management/modification (an asset)
Education:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Behavioural Science and Technology, Psychology, or a related field
- RBT certification is considered an asset
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Other Details:
- Flexible language requirement: French not required
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekend availability as needed
