Family Service Nova Scotia (FSNS) is a community-based provincial organization that has been offering a wide variety of programs and services to Nova Scotians since 1969. Supporting our service users is at the centre of everything we do!
FSNS continuously adapts to meet service user needs through collaboration with funding and community partners. We provide services for individuals, families, and communities across Nova Scotia, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment.

POSITION: Youth Outreach Worker
QUALIFICATIONS: Family Service Nova Scotia is seeking a qualified individual who holds an undergraduate degree in Community Studies, Human Kinetics, Psychology, or Sociology, with experience working with youth and families. This is a permanent, full-time position.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Reporting to the Coordinator of Youth Services, the Youth Outreach Worker provides direct support to youth and helps connect them to community-based services and resources. The goal of this position is to help improve immediate and long-term educational, vocational, social, economic, and health outcomes for young people aged 16-24.
Persons considered for this position must have a clear police background check, and a clear child abuse registry check, and a driver's license.
