We are seeking a skilled Wiring Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical background, with the ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and machinery, as well as a commitment to safety and quality standards.
As a Wiring Technician, you are responsible for assembling and wiring control panels. You will also be required to build panels in accordance to specification, mount devices to panels and cabinets and prepare for testing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and install parts, devices and equipment in control cabinets.
- Mount assembled control cabinet to tank.
- Wire equipment and devices to control panel as per engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Prepare completed wiring work for test and final inspection.
- Identify discrepancies in engineering drawings in wiring and parts and troubleshoot issues with engineering and resolve.
- Performing other duties as allocated.
WHAT IT TAKES

- 2-year post-secondary education in an Electrical Engineering Technician course, Electrician or equivalent program.
- 1-2 years of electrical and/or electronics experience.
- Proficient in reading schematics, drawings and diagrams.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
