Part-Time Installer – Custom Window Coverings
Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) | Must be able to travel throughout the GTA and other parts of Ontario

Lifeshades is a trusted provider of custom window treatments, specializing in premium manual and motorized shading systems. We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Installer to join our team. This hands-on position is perfect for someone who values quality workmanship, takes pride in a job well done, and enjoys working in modern residential and commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Install a variety of custom window coverings, including shades, blinds, drapery tracks, and motorized systems
- Conduct on-site measurements and ensure all products are properly fitted and aligned
- Safely operate hand tools, ladders, and other installation equipment
- Maintain clean and respectful conduct at job sites and in client homes
- Collaborate with the office and logistics team to coordinate project timelines
- Use a company vehicle to travel between our shop and project locations
Requirements
- Installation, finish carpentry, or related experience (window covering installation is an asset but not required)
- Comfortable handling tools, working on ladders, and performing physical tasks involving lifting and setup
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Strong communication skills and professionalism in client-facing settings
- Valid Ontario driver’s license
- Ability to travel across the GTA and occasionally to other parts of Ontario
- Must be able to report to our shop at the beginning of each shift
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
