Due to rapid growth in the Calgary market, we seek an experienced and dedicated Installation Manager to lead our window and door installation operations. The ideal candidate will manage installation teams, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and an in-depth understanding of warehouse operations.
The successful candidate must be able to identify product or installation defects and implement effective solutions. This includes accurately measuring windows and doors and ensuring order accuracy. They will manage multiple projects, oversee installations, and prioritize customer satisfaction. We are looking for a self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to maintain effective warehouse distribution.
- Ensure all installations adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct training for team members on equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Assist with heavy lifting during installations and warehouse activities when needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Source and hire qualified installers to meet project demands.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and resolve concerns.
- Participate in sales meetings and provide updates to support sales initiatives and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping, or receiving.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail in managing installation projects.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Experience in window and door installation is a significant asset.
- Warehouse management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with European Tilt-and-Turn windows is beneficial.
- Previous managerial experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
