Role and Responsibilities:
We are currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Wealth Specialist to support our Outlook service location. Reporting to the Manager Wealth Services, this role is ideal for someone passionate about relationship building, member service, and providing wealth solutions. As a Wealth Specialist at Prosperity Credit Union, you will be responsible for managing your wealth book of business while also overseeing term business for members with relationships across multiple financial areas. You will provide sound financial advice and tailored solutions to meet members' unique needs, ensuring a high level of service and commitment to helping members achieve their financial goals.

Foster a Collaborative Culture:
Work closely with the Manager of Wealth Services and cross-functional teams to strengthen our sales and service culture. Promote shared goals and foster an environment of continuous learning and growth.
Manage Risk with Integrity:
Ensure all wealth activities align with sound risk management principles. Uphold compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain accurate documentation, and safeguard member information through a strong understanding of operational policies and ethical standards.
Support Regulatory Compliance:
Stay informed of applicable legislation and compliance standards. Take action to ensure full adherence to policies including anti-money laundering regulations, privacy laws, and market code requirements.
Qualifications:
- A Grade 12 diploma and a minimum of 3-5 years of job-related experience;
- A post-Secondary degree and/or professional designation; or equivalent combination of education and experience is a definite asset;
- Mutual Fund Sales License (Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC)) or equivalent;
- Passion for co-operative values and for involvement with the local community;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build strong and respectful relationships with all parties including staff, peers, community, as well as current and potential business partners;
- Strong decision making and organizational leadership skills with the ability to plan and manage resources;
- Ability to make challenging decisions respectfully and effectively;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to act as an effective spokesperson and ambassador for the Credit Union.
