Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Civil or Mechanical Engineering EIT to join our highly successful water practice in Saskatchewan either out of our Regina or Saskatoon offices.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, detailed studies, review plans, and process design tasks associated with municipal water, wastewater and stormwater systems with a focus on pipeline structures, under the supervision of a project manager and senior water conveyance engineers.
- Explore municipal engineering, project work will include pipeline design, construction assessment, and rehabilitation.
- Support construction projects with field site visits and construction observation duties within the province of Saskatchewan.
- Writing and editing technical reports and engineering studies.
- Preparing plans and specifications for water, wastewater and stormwater facilities and conveyance pipelines.
- Coordinating with engineers and technical staff to ensure that the projects’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
- Meeting with clients, municipal officials, and contractors to review project needs and coordinate field conditions.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Must be a registered Engineer-in-Training or ability to obtain within six months.
- Interest in water, wastewater, and municipal engineering.
- Possess a strong analytical skillset and ability to apply first principals Engineering.
- Experience with design and/or construction related to one of water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater management facilities is preferred.
- Must have strong computer skills with background in Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD.
- Be a self-motivated individual, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Education and Experience
- Must have 1 to 3 years of experience in civil, environmental or mechanical engineering with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Systems Engineering.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
