NWI Precision is investing in the growth of the Toronto Ontario machining site including the addition of skilled labour with experience in the manufacturing and machining of hard metal components used in the aerospace, nuclear and industrial sectors.
NWI Precision is seeking an ideal candidate to fill the role of Wash Technician. This role will mainly be responsible for the cleaning and degreasing of precision components for the aircraft, aerospace and defence industries.
Wash technician Qualifications include:
- Coordinate the work to be completed as directed by the supervisor, ensuring production and quality targets are met
- Wash, degrease high precision machined components in preparation for assembly, inspection, subcontract, packaging and final shipment.
- Keep work area clean and maintain all equipment
- Ensure products meets client requirements and specifications
- Work in a fast paced manufacturing environment, where a high degree of attention to details and multi-tasking is required
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and be open to cross training
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislations, policies and procedures
- Perform duties in other areas of the plant when assigned by the supervisor
