Position: Wash Bay Attendant – Summer Student
Position Details
- Type: Part-time, Seasonal (20-40 hours/week, until the end of August or when school begins)
- Wage: $17.50/hour

As a Wash Bay Attendant – Summer Student, you’ll help ensure our fleet is clean, safe, and road-ready. You’ll be responsible for washing and detailing trucks and trailers, maintaining the wash bay area, and assisting with light yard/shop duties. This is an ideal role for a student who takes pride in their work and follows safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Pressure wash, scrub, and rinse the exterior of trucks and trailers
- Clean and sanitize trailer interiors and truck cabs as needed
- Guide vehicles safely into the wash bay
- Perform pre-wash inspections and report any damage or safety concerns
- Keep wash bay tools and equipment clean, safe, and organized
- Complete daily activity logs and follow safety procedures
- Conduct basic maintenance checks on equipment and supplies
- Assist with general yard or shop upkeep and other tasks as assigned
- A student returning to high school or post-secondary in Fall 2025
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 kg and doing manual labour (standing, bending, kneeling, etc.)
- A team player with strong communication and a willingness to learn
- Work performed both outdoors and in wash bay areas
- Exposure to water, cleaning products, and loud equipment
- Standing and moving on concrete surfaces for long periods
- May require evening and weekend availability
- Fast-paced environment during busy periods
- Hands-on experience in a supportive, team-based environment
- Opportunity to gain practical skills and work ethic
