Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records and control of incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring stock levels are optimized to meet operational needs while minimizing waste.
2. Receiving Shipments & Quality Control: Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Identify and report any discrepancies or damage promptly.
3. Storage, Cleaning, Safety, and Hygiene: Safely store and organize inventory in designated areas, following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and hygienic warehouse environment to prevent accidents and ensure product integrity.
4. Packaging and Shipping: Properly package items for shipment, selecting appropriate materials and methods. Coordinate shipping logistics and carriers to ensure timely and secure deliveries.
5. Compliance and Documentation: Adhere to all relevant regulations and company policies related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Maintain detailed records and documentation to track inventory movement and compliance.
6. Forklift License & Experience: Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently, with a minimum of 2 years valid forklift license and relevant experience, to facilitate the movement and handling of inventory items.
7. Adherence to all food safety policies and practices.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
- Familiarity with order picking and packing processes
- Math skills for inventory management
- Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
