About the Position
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is critical in organizing, maintaining, and efficiently managing the flow of products within our warehouse. You’ll be responsible for inventory management, shipping and receiving, and ensuring that stock levels are maintained and operations run smoothly. - Manage Deliveries and Shipments: Coordinate the arrival of new stock, ensuring accurate receipt and timely distribution of items for shipment.
- Organize Inventory: Ensure products are stored properly and in an organized manner, optimizing warehouse space and making items easy to locate.
- Maintain Warehouse Condition: Keep the warehouse space clean, safe, and in good working condition, adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.
- Support Efficient Product Flow: Play a vital role in the timely movement of both inbound supplies and outbound products, ensuring smooth operations to meet customer delivery timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inventory counts and manage stock levels to ensure product availability.
- Receive deliveries, verify against purchase orders, and update inventory system.
- Organize and store inventory efficiently; restock unused products and minimize waste.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipments.
- Review invoices and merchandise for accuracy before shipment; direct truck drivers for timely deliveries.
- Ensure inventory movement is authorized and controlled.
- Process claims for damaged or lost goods during shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, following safety standards.
Qualifications and Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Basic education required; additional certifications or training in warehouse operations a plus.
- Previous Warehouse Experience: Experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required.
- Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with inventory management systems and ability to navigate basic software applications.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, especially when managing inventory, processing shipments, and verifying orders.
- Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory, and stand for long periods.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet goals and deadlines.
- Able to identify issues with inventory or shipments and take appropriate corrective action.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety standards and protocols in a warehouse setting.
