We work together to care for the whole person from hospital to home.We are looking for a Ward Clerk to work with our F Wing Department to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork.
Position Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Ward Clerk within the F Wing Department.
The Ward Clerk performs clerical and administrative support functions to ensure smooth operation of the assigned unit.
Qualifications:
- Ward Clerk certificate and relevant clerical experience in health care setting required.
- Medical terminology and an understanding of the health care system required.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office required;
- Ability to work unsupervised in a high pressure position required.
- Ability to interact positively with physicians and the public required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task required.
- Experience with Meditech and order entry preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Acceptable performance and attendance records.
Hiring Salary Range: $28.712 - $29.334
