We are looking for a qualified Wallpaper Installer to professionally apply various types of wallpaper and wall coverings across guest rooms, suites, and public areas within our property. This position requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and an ability to deliver high-quality finishes in a hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure walls and prepare surfaces to ensure smooth wallpaper application.
- Cut and match wallpaper patterns with precision.
- Apply adhesives and install wallpaper accurately and cleanly.
- Repair existing wall coverings and correct imperfections.
- Follow safety and cleanliness protocols at all times.
- Work alongside renovation and maintenance teams to meet deadlines.
- Maintain tools and work areas in good condition.
- Communicate professionally with hotel management regarding progress and needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Wallpaper Installer (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of different wallpaper materials and techniques.
- Ability to cut, align, and apply wallpaper neatly with minimal waste.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, adhesives, and sealing techniques.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be physically able to bend, lift, climb ladders, and work on feet for extended periods.
Preferred:
- Experience working in hotel or commercial interior projects.
- Basic carpentry or painting skills is an asset.
