Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional waiter to join our front of house team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests, ensuring an enjoyable and seamless dining experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently and professionally
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience by checking in and addressing any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables between guests
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Handle payment transactions and issue receipts
- Assist in opening and closing duties as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role in the food industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure during busy service hours
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems is an asset
