What You Will Do With Us
As the VMI On-site Support Coordinator based in Winnipeg, you will build relationships with our customers by assisting with any product inquiries, sourcing additional products and receive & process orders. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will offer product knowledge & confirm stock availability.
How You Will Thrive With Us
- You will verify the material quantities ordered by the customer.
- You will source and order materials.
- You will quote the customer when required.
- You will process customer orders.
- You will expedite material to ensure that strict delivery deadlines are met.
- You will implement VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) Programs.
- You will handle all customer inquiries.
- You will monitor customer accounts to maintain complete and accurate records.
- You will process US customs documents.
- You will enter customer demand schedules.
- You will be a Brand Ambassador, by building brand recognition while supporting sales initiatives and enhancing customer experiences. You will consistently ensure that our corporate image is reflected.
Who Are You
- You have product knowledge of the electrical business.
- You have 2-5 years of customer service experience with exposure to an order entry system.
- You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- You have experience with AS-400 computerized system.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to impart knowledge
- You have good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under pressure while maintaining a good attitude
- For customer site visits, this position requires both a valid driver’s license and a vehicle (KM usage will be compensated).
