Our clinic offers vision therapy and rehabilitation services for patients. We are looking for an individual who can administer vision testing and aid optometrists in identifying reading-related vision problems in children, post-concussion athletes, and patients with lazy eye. Extensive training will be provided to the right candidate.

A Vision Therapy Coordinator works under direct supervision of an Optometrist.
Summary of Duties include but are not limited to:
- One-on-one direct implementation of visual perceptual testing
- Administering tests using various ophthalmic instruments
- Booking and managing appointments using an Electronic Medical Records system
- Working and communicating with other optometrists, medical doctors and other health professionals to coordinate patient care
- Managing administrative duties including inbound and outbound referrals, insurance communications, and prescription requests
- Helping front-desk team with preliminary diagnostic testing as needed
- Aid in writing functional visual exam reports
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a clinical/patient care setting
- Experience working with people of different cultures and ages
- Preferably at least 2 years of customer service experience
- Post-secondary education in health-related field (degree, diploma, or certificate)
- Fluent in English verbal and written communication
Schedule:
- 4-8 hour shifts (We can accommodate part-time or full-time)
