We specialize in walking tours, bike and scooter tours, and brewery tours across major cities in Canada — Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, and Toronto. We are now expanding into Medicine Hat and producing promotional videos to showcase our new tours.
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Videographer to film promotional content for Toonie Tours in Medicine Hat. This is a short-term contract opportunity ideal for someone looking to build their portfolio, work on-location, and capture engaging tourism content.
Key Responsibilities
- Film three promotional videos in Medicine Hat: a walking tour, a bike tour, and a scooter tour.
- Capture dynamic footage that highlights our tour guides, participants, and the city’s landmarks.
- Work with the Toonie Tours marketing team to align footage with brand voice and style.
- Provide raw footage (editing not required, but a plus if offered).
- Ensure high-quality, visually appealing shots suitable for use across social media, websites, and advertising.
Schedule
- Filming dates: September 1–3, 2025
- Each video shoot: approximately 2–3 hours
- Location: Medicine Hat, Alberta
Compensation
- Flat project rate to be discussed based on experience and equipment.
- Potential for ongoing collaboration on future projects across Canada.
Qualifications
- Experience filming on-location with DSLR, mirrorless, or professional video cameras.
- Strong eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on set.
- Comfortable filming active/outdoor content.
- Own equipment required (camera, audio, stabilizer/gimbal preferred).
