Role Overview
We’re looking for a talented Video Content Creator to join our team in a part-time, on-site capacity. This role is based in Toronto, ON, with regular in-person collaboration and site visits. You’ll be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing video content that reflects our clients’ brand voices and strategic goals.
The ideal candidate is not only skilled behind the camera but also comfortable appearing on camera when needed—whether for hosting, interviews, or other content formats.
A portfolio of previous video work is required for consideration. Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce short- and long-form video content for digital platforms, campaigns, and client work
- Shoot and edit video using professional equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Coordinate shoots, manage lighting and sound, and ensure quality production standards
- Collaborate with the internal team to develop concepts, scripts, and visual direction
- Appear on camera for hosting, interviews, or instructional segments as needed
- Optimize content for various platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Stay current on social media trends, video formats, and best practices
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video production including camera operation, lighting, and audio
- Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent
- Strong storytelling skills with a creative and strategic mindset
- Comfortable being on camera and speaking clearly in a professional manner
- Familiarity with content marketing and digital storytelling
- Organized, deadline-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
- Bonus: Experience with motion graphics or animation
- Bonus: Experience optimizing content for social media

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week

- Weekends as needed
