Grimsby Town Football Club is seeking a dynamic and data-driven Player Recruitment Lead to shape and deliver the Club’s player identification strategy.
This pivotal role will use performance data, scouting insight, and stakeholder engagement to drive squad planning, identify talent across all levels (including the Academy), and support the Head Coach and technical staff in player acquisition.
Key responsibilities include developing player dossiers, executing recruitment strategies, managing target databases, and championing the Club’s appeal to potential signings. Essential qualifications include FA Talent ID Levels 2 & 3, experience negotiating playing contracts, and a strong network within British football.
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, discretion, and a proactive mindset. Working closely with Jamestown Analytics, a cutting-edge football intelligence partner with a track record of success, this is a rare opportunity to shape recruitment strategy in a Club that values innovation, collaboration, and continual improvement.
A full UK driving licence, FA Safeguarding Certificate, and Enhanced DBS Check are all required.
