Overview of the job:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our team. This role involves the installation of shallow utility facilities on underground residential development (URD) projects. If you're looking to start a career in the utility construction industry, this is a great opportunity—with on-the-job training provided.
Duties:
- Install conduit, cables, transformers, and pedestals for all utility services
- Perform general labour tasks and shovel work as required on job sites
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support crew members and follow direction from site supervisors
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from job sites
- No previous experience required training will be provided
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and perform physical tasks
