Position Summary
The Advanced Solutions & Innovation Supervisor will support UM’s growth through the development of forward-thinking, insights-driven work across innovation, audience strategy, and the articulation of agency capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of culture, technology, and data; requiring a strategic thinker who can translate shifts in digital behavior, platform capabilities, and business needs into compelling narratives and actionable outputs.
You’ll help bring to life new ideas, develop audience strategies, and shape data-and-tech-informed narratives that resonate across both clients and prospects. From emerging cultural trends, to evolving martech and analytics solutions, you’ll contribute to how the agency identifies opportunity, communicates value, and operationalizes innovation. This is a role for someone with strategic clarity, fluency in digital and data concepts, and the ability to frame our capabilities in ways that drive both internal alignment and external impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Build structured, insight-driven presentations and materials that translate trends, behaviors, and agency capabilities into strategic recommendations.
- Monitor and synthesize cultural, digital, and audience trends to inform proactive client storytelling.
- Collaborate across agency teams to ensure deliverables are cohesive, aligned, and well-packaged.
- Analyze data inputs (qualitative and quantitative) to extract insights and shape implications.
- Support capability articulation across a range of agency offerings (e.g., audiences, tech, tools, frameworks) for internal and external purposes
- POV on digital media platforms, data, and martech — understanding how they function, where they add value, and how to position them strategically.
- Contribute to pitches, thought leadership, and tech consultations.
- Confidently present work internally and to clients
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in strategy, media, innovation, or marketing-related roles.
- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to structure clear, compelling narratives.
- Comfortable interpreting and communicating data-driven insights
- Knowledge of the digital ecosystem: how platforms work, how audiences behave, and where data/tech fit into the broader picture.
- Collaborative and proactive — able to work independently, yet thrive in a cross-functional team.
- Curious mindset with a point of view on what’s next.
