Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service. The Delivery Driver will also assist in loading and unloading items, which may involve heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport Materials to designated locations.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any inquiries.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on effective communication.
- Experience operating loaders or similar equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.
