Traffic Control Person (TCP):
Job Summary: The TCP assists with the setup and tear down of the traffic pattern in addition to directing traffic through the work zone in a safe and efficient manner.
Reports To: Temporary Workplace Agents
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Available for work Monday through Friday. And some weekends
- Assist with set up and tear down of the traffic pattern.
- Direct traffic through the work zone in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist the Agent.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Ability to work long and flexible hours.
- Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to recognize and warn others of dangerous situations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs in weight.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to move and maneuver in a quick fashion to avoid dangerous situations
Educational Requirements:
- Ability to pass the provincial Traffic Control Person Course
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
