Traffic Control Person - TTC

Traffic Control Person (TCP):

Job Summary: The TCP assists with the setup and tear down of the traffic pattern in addition to directing traffic through the work zone in a safe and efficient manner.

Reports To: Temporary Workplace Agents

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Available for work Monday through Friday. And some weekends
• Assist with set up and tear down of the traffic pattern.
• Direct traffic through the work zone in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist the Agent.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Ability to work long and flexible hours.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to recognize and warn others of dangerous situations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs in weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to move and maneuver in a quick fashion to avoid dangerous situations

Educational Requirements:

• Ability to pass the provincial Traffic Control Person Course

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
