Duties and Responsibilities:
·The successful candidate will be responsible for recoveries, towing and transporting vehicles to designated locations, providing roadside assistance, and maintaining the tow truck and equipment in clean, good working order at all times. Depending on the type of tow truck you will be operating, equipment used to perform your duties may include using chains, wheel straps, a winchline, steering locks, dollies, booster packs/Jumper cables, scissor jacks and other devices as well as affixing lights onto the towed vehicle. During the performance of your job, you are expected to maintain clear & concise communication with dispatch at all times.
What we look for in a successful candidate:
- Be able to pass a Criminal Record check
- Have a valid Class 5 Drivers License & a clean Driving abstract
- Have the ability to operate vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions
- Have working knowledge, and experience, using maps and GPS devices
- Have strong organization, problem-solving and time management skills
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be able to provide effective communication

- Be able to work independently, as well as within a team
