Augusta Fruit Market is a retail & wholesale food distributor located in downtown Toronto near the intersection of College and Spadina. We supply fruits, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, dried goods, and grocery items through our retail location and to a variety of residences, restaurants, hotels, and other foodservice establishments in the GTA. We are currently seeking a team member to fill a temporary Warehouse Worker position. This is a position that will run from July 1st 2025 to September 15th 2025, but upon successful completion of this term, a permanent full-time position might be offered to the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
- Assembling outbound orders
- Checking inbound deliveries
- Loading & unloading trucks
- Managing inventory
- Delivering orders by foot to neighboring businesses
- Organizing waste for pickup
- Performing cleaning duties
The individual filling this position will report to the Operations Managers, who will oversee training, assign tasks, and ensure quality standards are met.
The shift is as follows:
- Saturday 8:30AM-6:00PM
- Sunday 8:30AM-5:00PM
- Monday 7:30AM-5:30PM
- Tuesday OFF
- Wednesday OFF
- Thursday 7:30AM-5:30PM
- Friday 7:30AM-5:30PM
