Job Description – Full-Time Baker (Evening Shift 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM)

Overview:
The Baker is responsible for preparing and baking high-quality Tim Hortons products in accordance with brand standards. The evening shift ensures that baked goods are consistently fresh, available for guests throughout the day, and that production is completed to prepare the restaurant for the following morning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, bake, and finish donuts, muffins, Timbits, cookies, breads, bagels, and other Tim Hortons products according to recipes, procedures, and quality standards.
- Operate bakery equipment including ovens, fryers, proofers, and mixers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a steady flow of fresh products during the 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM shift to meet guest demand.
- Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and minimize product waste.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing baking ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure all bakery areas and equipment are cleaned and properly shut down at the end of the evening shift.
- Work as part of a team to support overall restaurant operations and provide a consistent guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous baking, food preparation, or restaurant experience is an asset (training will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Reliable and punctual, with availability to work the 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
