Barrie, Ontario
Full time

As a Territory Manager for The Pittsburgh Paints Company (PPC) servicing Home Centres in the Northern Ontario area, you will establish strong relationships with key store staff and demonstrate your industry expertise to develop sales results for PPC. You will build relationships with DIY customers and Professional contractors, and other end-users of PPC paints and stains to drive top line sales growth. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with store management teams and associates to drive sales growth plans for PPC.

  • Merchandise colour centres, and execute sales aides and Point of Purchase materials for all PPC paint and stain brands.
  • On a regular basis, lift and handle paint, and, on an occasional basis, reset product bays (including moving steel beams and shelving, with assistance from store staff, as well as lift and handle paint).
  • Work cross-functionally with all PPC departments (Account Team, Sales, Marketing, Training, Commercial Excellence, Supply Chain – Distribution Centre and Transportation, Customer Service, Tech Services) to exceed sales goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required with 4+ years of sales or account manager experience; paint or coatings experience is preferred.
