The Job
The Telephone Sales Representative at Stigma Grow will be responsible for proactively reaching out to potential clients, educating them on our cannabis products and driving sales through effective telephone communication. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and results-driven individual with a strong understanding of sales and relationship building, expert communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
The Responsibilities
- Initiate and conduct outbound sales calls to potential clients within the industry.
- Introduce and promote the company's products, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Stay up to date on the company's products, including strains, extractions, and more.
- Articulate product details, benefits, and usage guidelines to potential clients.
- Educate potential clients on the benefits of the company's products and how they can meet the client's specific needs.
- Answer product-related questions and concerns to build confidence and trust.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs set by the internal team.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with internal team to develop product knowledge and training campaigns.
- Qualify leads through effective questioning and information gathering to determine a potential fit for the company's products.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and client details.
- Build and nurture positive relationships with clients through regular follow-up calls and communication.
- Identify opportunities for long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and changes in regulations.
- Provide feedback to the internal team regarding market insights and client preferences.
- Address client objections effectively and provide information to overcome potential barriers to sale.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to develop objection-handling strategies.
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to industry legal and regulatory compliance standards.
- Stay informed about any changes in regulations that may impact sales practices.
- Other duties as required.
What you bring
- Previous experience in B2B telephone sales, preferably in a related industry.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to provide and pass a criminal record check is required.
- Results-orientated with a proved track record for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must work onsite; this is not a remote position.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
