We are looking for a Transaction Technician for a 6-month contract, who will work under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Transaction Processes for the Individual Savings and Retirement sector.
After a few weeks of training, you will be able to:
- Contribute your expertise to administrative tasks when processing various transaction requests for individual annuity contracts in accordance with current policies and procedures;
- Put your meticulous mind to work by coding information in computer systems (contract issuance, deposits, transfers, etc.) while ensuring compliance with documentation related to transaction requests;
- Process a large number of varied requests within established deadlines in an individual savings and retirement environment where products evolve rapidly and tax laws are frequently updated;
You are the person we are looking for if:
- You are comfortable using various computer tools;
- You demonstrate good judgment, autonomy, and attention to detail, as well as excellent priority management skills;
- You have a good ability to learn and work under pressure;
- You are available 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and can start work on September 22, 2025.
- You have an intermediate level of English, as the person will be required to process transaction files, respond to clients and internal teams, and communicate with clients or financial institutions on a daily basis.
Compensation:
The typical salary range for this position is between CA$47,000 and CA$50,000 per year; the base salary offered depends on the location and may vary based on skills, job-related knowledge, experience, and internal equity. All permanent iA employees are also eligible for an annual bonus.
