Summary
As a Technical Specialist at Gandy Digital Ltd., you will play a vital role in supporting our innovative digital printing solutions. This position is essential for ensuring the quality and performance of our products while contributing to our mission of excellence in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Spend the majority of your time in manufacturing, assembling and ensuring quality control of printing systems.
- Provide technical support to customers, ensuring quick and effective resolution of issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to printing systems.
- Install, calibrate, and finalize printing machines to meet quality standards.
- Train customers on machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance product performance.
- Travel to client sites across Canada as needed (approximately 30% travel).
Requirements
- Manufacturing Skills: Proficiency in tool handling and assembly processes.
- Technical knowledge of printing technology or related systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to travel 30% of the time for installations and support.
- Permanent residency in Canada preferred.
- Some experience in a technical support or similar role is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
