Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Technical Specialist - Assistant Coach Cross Country will be expected to assistant with various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the program including attending meetings and assisting with overall administrative tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Technical Specialist - Assistant Coach Cross Country will be expected to assistant with various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the program including attending meetings and assisting with overall administrative tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and distribute on-field team equipment
- Preparation of race and practice equipment for the team
- Record activities during a race and keeping track of splits/times.
- Analyses data and identifies trends of race/team/athlete activity/competency during meets and post meets and prepares reports to head coach
- Support coaching staff in the implementation of practice and race strategies
- attend meetings and assist with overall administrative tasks as required
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
- Knowledge or previous practical experience of the cross and field sport
- May require certification beyond CPR and First Aid
- Skills: organized, punctual, team-oriented, hard worker
Selected candidates are expected to successfully pass their criminal background check.
