Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a Daycare setting. Your expertise in meal preparation and food handling will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food restrictions, allergies, anaphylaxis
- Ensure food is cooked and presented in a timely manner
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Help with meal planning and menu development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook in a kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Attention to detail in order to adhere to food restrictions, allergies and anaphylaxis
- Flexibility to work opening shift
