Join the BYXE Street Team! Love biking and chatting with people? The BYXE Street Team is hitting the streets to spread the word about Saskatoon’s bike network, road rules, and how to share the road safely. You’ll help build community energy around cycling while supporting the City of Saskatoon’s Active Transportation Plan. We’re hiring friendly, bike-savvy individuals to be trained, supported, and part of a fun, purpose-driven team!
You’d be great for this if you:
- Communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and when speaking to groups
- Know your way around MS 365, Google Docs, and online tools
- Have a solid understanding (or are eager to learn!) about Saskatoon’s bike routes and bylaws
- Own or have access to a properly fitted bike and helmet—and know how to ride and maintain it
- Are open to customer service training
- Want to help create an inclusive, bike-friendly community
We’re looking for people who are:
- Friendly, diplomatic, and team-oriented
- Comfortable with change and frequent interactions
- Reliable, positive, and ready to make a difference
Training on cycling and city bylaws and infrastructure will be provided—bring your passion, and we’ll help with the rest!
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
