Fun Circle is kids Indoor Playground and Activity Center offering a clean, safe, and enriching environment for children ages 0–12 years and their families. In addition to daily play admissions, we host birthday parties, family events, corporate bookings, camps, and daycare/school field trips. Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and responsible Team Lead who will work part-time hours with mandatory weekends, and take charge of front-line operations including staff scheduling, team supervision, customer engagement, and event execution. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment and brings experience in working with children, families, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Supervise and lead Fun Team Members during shifts; provide coaching and ensure high team morale.
- Scheduling & Timesheets: Prepare weekly staff schedules and verify shift coverage; track and approve team member hours.
- Facility Oversight: Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the indoor playground and party/event spaces; manage facility maintenance checklists.
- Customer Experience: Greet and support families with enthusiasm; resolve escalations with professionalism and empathy.
- Party Bookings & Hosting: Oversee party planning, coordination, set-up, and hosting of birthday and private events; ensure every celebration is memorable.
- Cash Handling: Manage POS transactions, reconcile cash drawers, and ensure compliance with payment policies.
- Operational Duties: Open and close facility; ensure completion of daily checklists, inventory control, and task delegation.
- Interactive Presence: Lead games and group activities, engage with children and families during events, and maintain a vibrant atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or team supervision experience (preferably in retail, hospitality, or child-centered environments).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with children and families.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; friendly, diplomatic, and solution-focused.
- Proficient in cash handling, POS systems, basic spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel), and scheduling tools.
- Comfortable with cleaning, setup, and maintenance routines.
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and lead by example.
- Availability to work mandatory weekends and some weekday evenings.
- CPR/First Aid certification and a clean Vulnerable Sector Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

- Experience in hosting birthday parties or special events
- Knowledge of balloon art, face painting, or leading children’s activities
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
