The Coordinator plays a key role in delivering services to clients in accordance with the contract. They act as the essential link in bringing the strategic vision of Groupe Helios and its project managers to life.
Main Responsibilities:
Operational Duties:
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily electric cart transportation within designated airport areas;
- Lead the driver team: task assignments, attendance monitoring, scheduling, and on-site support;
- Provide courteous, efficient, and safe transportation services to passengers, including those with reduced mobility;
- Actively drive carts when needed (e.g., during staff shortages, emergencies, or peak periods);
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections, ensure proper maintenance, and report any damage or malfunctions;
- Manage unexpected situations, incidents, and urgent requests calmly and professionally.
HR and Administrative Duties:
- Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new drivers (posting, interviews, paperwork, initial and ongoing training);
- Track attendance, leaves, performance, tardiness, and conduct;
- Collaborate with head office on HR files, CIZR airport access cards, and uniform management;
- Assist in preparing and managing work schedules to meet operational demands;
- Contribute to drafting internal communications, activity reports, and operational follow-ups.
Profile Sought:
- Postsecondary education in administration, logistics, management, or a related field (e.g., AEC, DEC, certificate, or bachelor’s degree);
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a coordination or team supervision role;
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team;
- Solid knowledge of customer service best practices and workplace safety standards;
- Proficiency with basic office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word);
- Bilingualism (French/English) is a necessary asset;
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 mandatory);
- Ability to work in a dynamic and regulated environment.
Conditions:
- Permanent full-time position (40 hours/week);
- Daytime schedule, Monday to Friday (with flexibility based on operational needs);
- On-site position at Calgary International Airport;
- Must be eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
