The Team Lead manages a team of Associate- and Intermediate-level supply chain professionals and is accountable for progressing lifecycle procurement activities for systems/equipment/material for the River-Class Destroyer (RCD) program. Packages managed by Associate- and Intermediate-level specialists are typically low- to medium complexity. The Team Lead may themselves take on ownership of complex/critical packages, or those packages requiring broader team-support (ex Steel) or significant strategy development.
The Team Lead role requires significant internal-/external-stakeholder management and coordination, and the work is guided by:
· Ensuring safety in all aspects of our work;
· Critical schedule adherence;
· Total-cost optimization; and,
· Maximizing ITB (where feasible).
During D&M phase, the Team Lead aims to achieve:
· Contract Award delivery schedule in support of program commitments;
· Obtaining Vendor Furnished Information (VFI) in support of design maturity; and
· Obtaining equipment/material by Required In Yard Dates (RIYD) to support shipyard-build needs
- Execution: Ensure procurement practices and output are conformant, consistent, and high-quality through lifecycle.

- Ensure optimal organizational design is in place to deliver performance targets. Progress employee engagement, skill development, team competency development, employee competency development.
- Organizational reporting (structured, ad hoc)
- Completed post-secondary education in business or related field.
- 7 years of Supply Chain Management experience in an industrial/ manufacturing/ construction environment.
- Previous people-leader experience is considered an asset.
