We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services to passengers. As a Taxi Driver, you will navigate the city, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a strong knowledge of local routes.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or personal items.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure passenger safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding pick-up locations, traffic conditions, and any delays.
- Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, professional, and accommodating to passenger needs.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and fare calculations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
Skills
- Proven experience in driving roles such as Limousine, Commercial driving, Delivery driver experience, Bus driving, or Paratransit is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of local streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent navigation skills using GPS or maps.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with passengers and dispatchers.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
